Our Courses

  • BFA (Acting)

    Our BFA equips students with the specific knowledge and skills to pursue careers as actors across the breadth of today’s arts and entertainment industries.
  • BFA (Costume)

    Our costume course is an immersive, practice-based course offering education in costume construction, research and management.
  • BFA (Props and Effects)

    An immersive, practice-based course focused on instructing and developing creative/making skills to encourage versatile artists and makers.
  • BFA (Design for Performance)

    A hands-on course that equips students with knowledge and skills to respond to design briefs as set, costume and lighting designers.
  • BFA (Technical Theatre and Stage Management)

    A practical course that equips students with the technical and leadership skills required for a successful career in a range of performance and live events.
  • BFA (Set Construction Technologies)

    Exclusive to NIDA in Australia, this unique course teaches students how to create the environments in which performances take place.

Scholarships

NIDA Scholarships are open to future students and enrolled students. Most scholarships are allocated based on financial need.

  • International Students

    NIDA welcomes applications from international students for enrolment in our Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters of Fine Arts courses.
  • Accommodation

    NIDA does not have on-campus accommodation for students, however UNSW offers a range of housing options which NIDA students can access.
  • Study Abroad

    Study Abroad is a fee-based option for international university students studying a related course to join NIDA’s full-time courses for one to two semesters.
