NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Benjamin is a former student of the NIDA props course, having graduated in 2015. Since then, he has worked in a full-time capacity in various workshops specialising in props, costume and model making, as well as set-building for film, television and events.
In his capacity as workshop coordinator, Ben manages the upkeep and ordering of tools, machinery and materials. He also takes students across machinery usage and a variety of fabrication techniques, including the use of workshop machinery, 3D printing and laser cutting, in technical demonstrations.
