Zara grew up in Melbourne/Naarm across two houses with four very artistic parents, and was always encouraged to both appreciate and exercise creativity. Whether she was walking through art galleries hand-in-hand with her mum or impersonating her dad’s rendition of Nessun Dorma, you could always find Zara making art or noise – often both at the same time.
Zara is a proud Sicilian-Australian and finds much joy in all things tinned tomatoes and Joe Pesci. After starting a “normal” degree and deciding it was finally time to embrace the Anglo side of her ancestry, Zara Irish-goodbyed her Bachelor’s in English in favour of acting and hasn’t looked back. This is to say, she never officially unenrolled and sincerely hopes her old university has gotten the hint by now.
In her spare time, you can find Zara swimming laps at the pool, wandering through a museum, watercolour painting, or exploring Adam Sandler’s extensive filmography.
