Zahara is a proud Greek-South African/Indian actress, born and raised in Sydney, Australia.
Deferring an Arts/Law degree at the University of Sydney to pursue acting, Zahara won Best Actress at the 2019 Brisbane Eisteddfod, starred in the 2022 Australian premiere of Waiting In Soho at Sydney Fringe Festival and played Millie in Nothing In Between, which was a Top 10 AACTA Pitch: Focus finalist.
Pursuing film, she has trained under esteemed US actors, LA casting directors, and collaborated on AFTRS films and music videos, both acting and co-producing. During university, she rehearsed at The Cellar Theatre for Aaron in Titus Andronicus, and Alice in Sontag’s Alice In Bed. She has also trained in singing, and loves to convince people she’s British on a night out.
Beyond acting, Zahara is a fierce A1 division netballer and coach. She writes poetry, creates fluid art, produces podcasts for FBI Radio’s All The Best, takes fusion Hip Hop, Funk, RnB dance classes and has performed traditional Greek dance.
