Born and raised in Sydney, Reid’s artistic journey began with tap dancing, nurtured by a family deeply rooted in dance. Taught by his father, Reid quickly developed a passion for the stage and went on to earn an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts in 2018. Upon graduating, he was instantly thrust into the world tour of Tap Dogs, performing internationally across South Africa, China, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and London’s West End. While tap dancing was his first love, Reid discovered a deep interest in acting and writing during his studies, remaining as a creative outlet throughout his professional dance career.

He wrote, directed, and performed in short films and comedy sketches, and gained experience in TV commercials and small acting roles. In 2022, Reid made the safe choice and decided to pursue a far more financially secure career path, acting. With the desire to fully commit, he applied for NIDA, a moment he saw as a pivotal turning point. Since then, he has dedicated himself to acting and original storytelling, committed to bringing every creative idea in his mind to life.

Reid continues to develop his own work, and hopes to bring that passion into all of his future endeavours as an actor.
