Melody grew up between sweltering Darwin and coastal Newcastle witnessing different lives and different stories from across the land. She always found it interesting that each passerby had a life as unique and complex as her own, which is how her fascination with storytelling began.

Melody was always a creative kid, and to this day finds a new hobby weekly (right now she’s discovering how many ways buttons can be used… you should see her water bottle… it’s terrible) but acting and singing was always the through line they came back to.

After working in TV, Melody decided to commit to expanding her repertoire to strengthen her musical theatre skills, with the goal of continuing to develop as a versatile performer. Melody is in love with every day she spends at NIDA, truly, and is incredibly excited to see what comes next.
