A passionate high performing leader with a sustained record of contributing to strategic and stakeholder outcomes across education, corporate and not-for-profit organisations, Lara Jacques has joined NIDA’s Executive team as Chief Operating Officer.
‘I am very excited to have joined the NIDA team. Observing from afar the incredible education, training and community support provided by the talent and passionate NIDA community across over 60 years, I feel very honoured to be able to make a contribution in the coming years as Chief Operating Officer’, said Lara.
Prior to joining NIDA, Lara led large complex operational teams within universities across a variety of disciplines including arts and social sciences, medicine, science and law. She has worked in multiple countries outside of Australia including the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
With a demonstrated history of delivering excellent operational and strategic outcomes over a twenty-five career, Lara is commercially astute, skilled in forming relationships for mutual benefit and committed to contributing towards positive change.
Lara holds a Graduate Certificate, Executive MBA from UTS, Bachelor of International Studies from UNSW and Certificate of Sociology, Open University.
