Kathleen is a young South Indian creative and performer with a strong passion for storytelling in all its forms.
As a child, she grew up moving back and forth between Australia and India, finding immense comfort in the universal power of storytelling to validate people’s unique experiences, and hopes to help others feel seen and know that they are not alone in their struggles.
Although Kathleen comes from a family of doctors and engineers, she has always loved performing onstage from a young age, has a background in dance and loves to write poems and short stories in her free time. Kathleen has performed in dance showcases and plays in high school while studying Drama as a subject over four years. She is also an avid reader and overall literature enthusiast.
Fuelled by a burning desire to further interrogate the craft of acting, Kathleen auditioned for and was accepted into NIDA’s Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance, 2025, after completing High School. Armed with greater understanding and a curiosity to learn more about the world through performing, Kathleen is eager to enter the industry, hoping to challenge creative horizons through creating art that inspires her audience.
