About Harold
Tall, average looking, awkward but in a charming way, the everyman. Born in New South Wales, Harold spent his early years exploring the 100-acre farmland he called home, re-enacting scenes from films he watched surrounded by horses and cows. Harold always had an interest in performing, taking dance classes at a young age wanting to join the Tap Dogs to finding his way to performing in his first musical when he was 8. After the farm, Harold and his family moved to the coast. There, he found a love for the beach and started surf lifesaving and competing in Nipper’s competitions but performing could not be kept away. Harold attended a performing arts high school and took part in community theatre, putting his love of acting on show. Before commencing his studies at NIDA, Harold studied teaching at university, double majoring in English and Drama.
Harold is a confident singer, having been trained in Celtic folk music to classical Italian to contemporary musical theatre and jazz. He would class himself more of a mover than a dancer but has been told to claim his long limbs and say that he can dance. Since commencing his studies at NIDA, he has found an interest in voice acting, performance capture, screen, and genre style acting. Harold is excited to take these interests into the professional space and give everything a go!
