Finlay Hogan

Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Finlay (Fin) Hogan is a multi-disciplinary practitioner with interests and skills in film, television, music, and theatre.  He specialises in sound design, musical composition and production, video and film production, and graphic design. 

As a full time NIDA student, Fin has been expanding his skills while learning a multitude of new ones, collaborating both with peers and guest practitioners to bring immersive theatrical worlds to life. 

Outside of NIDA, Fin is active in the Sydney music scene, performing at festivals and major venues with rising indie alt-rock band Ah Honey. Fin also runs Hero Studios, producing music, video and graphics, in addition to mixing and mastering. 

Upon completion of his degree, Fin is excited to continue to hone his craft and further his practice through creative multimedia expression in new fields.
