Di Misirdjieff

Di brings her extensive industry experience to her work with students as NIDA’s Producer. She has been in diverse artistic and entertainment industries including theatre, opera, festivals, events, film, visual arts and multi-media with companies including Opera Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, State Theatre Company, Adelaide Festival, D’Arcy Emerson & Lorrimer and Museum of Contemporary Art.

She has had many roles including Producer, both Production and Stage Manager, Event Producer and Project Manager. Her theatre shows are too numerous to mention individually, but Di enjoyed many exciting years as a Stage Manager in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne along with touring. At Opera Australia she was Production Manager on numerous operas including David McVicar’s Figaro, John Bell’s Carmen and the premiere production of the National Festival hit and Helpmann award winner, The Rabbits. Di is also a graduate with a BFA in theatre and Graduate Diploma in Festival & Event Design and Management from Flinders University.
