Clare Jones joined NIDA in November 2025 as Head of Student Services and Operations, bringing extensive experience in the higher education sector across Australia and the United Kingdom. A strategic and student-centred leader, Clare has built her career designing and delivering high-quality student services that support students throughout their learning journey.

Prior to joining NIDA, Clare was Head of Student Lifecycle at UNSW, where she led large, multidisciplinary teams responsible for key stages of the student experience. Her work has focused on strengthening service delivery models, streamlining processes, and ensuring that students can access clear, responsive and practical support when they need it.

At NIDA, Clare is passionate about creating services that are thoughtful, connected and easy to navigate, supporting students to focus on their training, creative practice and future careers. She is committed to embedding student-centred approaches across service design and operations, helping create a seamless and supportive experience for all students.
