About Amellia
Amellia is a stage manager and technician based in Sydney. Amellia received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of Sydney in 2012, where she became interested in collaborative large-scale creative works.
She pursued this interest by completing NIDA’s Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services in 2016 before going on to study the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Technical Theatre and Stage Management).
NIDA has expanded her love of both theatre and collaborative creative works, and has elevated her theatrical skills and knowledge through a wide range of experience across different genres, styles, and practices. Amellia has worked on a variety of external projects and secondments with renown companies such as the Sydney Opera House, Gordon Frost, Pinchgut Opera, and the Sydney Festival.
