NIDA Scholarships Reach over 1 Million Dollars of Support for 2024 Student Intake

In 2024, NIDA will provide a record-breaking level of scholarship funding, with over $1 million dollars in funds distributed across more than 100 unique scholarships, providing much needed assistance to talented students.

Through the generosity of numerous donors, NIDA will offer an extensive range of scholarships that will have a profound impact on the lives of students. These scholarships support students pursuing degrees in the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Diploma of Live Production and Technical Services, and Master of Fine Arts, helping to cover essential living expenses.

NIDA CEO Liz Hughes said: ‘NIDA’s goal is to empower future storytellers of all backgrounds and we are deeply committed to building a diverse community of students. NIDA strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people who are Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and people with a disability. We are grateful for the enormous generosity of our supporters, as their contribution and commitment to NIDA is an important investment in our students and their futures in the performing arts industry.’
