Committed to cultivating diversity and inclusion in Australian workplaces, NIDA Corporate is providing a customised three-hour workshop for partners of the Awards. The session will explore the concept of ‘unconscious bias’ and how personal perceptions can impact communication and professional relationships.
NIDA Corporate teaches techniques drawn from the National Institute of Dramatic Art’s world-renowned performing arts teaching methodologies.
At the Awards’ media launch yesterday, Vanessa White, Head of NIDA Corporate, commented, ‘We pride ourselves on supporting transformation within organisations and individuals. We believe that with greater self-awareness and an understanding of the impact of our communication, we can affect change.’
‘We were motivated to become a partner because NIDA Corporate reflects the vision and values of the LGBTI Awards, and our training has contributed to positive outcomes in inclusion and diversity across major corporate organisations in Australia. We have been responsible for raising awareness of unconscious biases, and challenging people’s perceptions of themselves and others.’
NIDA Corporate’s extensive training options are progressive and continue to meet the needs of both businesses and individuals in a constantly changing business landscape. In recent times, ‘unconscious bias’ has become a key topic of discussion in the business world.
