About megan

Megan is a comedy writer and director from Western Australia. Starting out in the independent theatre scene in Perth, Megan developed her unique brand of humor through writing various comedies and musicals. Her most successful show to date, Time Capsule, an original musical, won her a Fringe World Award for best music/musical in 2022. With a commerce degree in marketing, Megan noticed a gap in the Australian entertainment industry for film and television comedies targeted at young Australians. This gap motivated Megan to follow her writing dreams and move to Sydney to study her Masters in Writing for Performance at NIDA. In 2023, Megan was a participant in ATYP’s National Studio and will have her play performed in the Intersection Festival. Megan is currently working on a netball, sex-filled comedy feature film and a raunchy TV series that follows three women as they navigate free tertiary education in 1974.
