NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
Born in the UK, Harry had barely left the womb before he started juggling a soccer ball. Sport and the arts ran parallel in his life, only ever asking for the same two Christmas presents every year: the latest Portsmouth FC shirt, and a brand new magic set.
From keepie-uppies to disappearing coins, Harry knew that he would eventually have to decide between his two loves. Ultimately, the decision wasn’t too difficult – with an offer to study a Diploma of Acting at WAAPA in 2019, he pursued the greater of his two passions: performing.
The following year, Harry found himself on the other side of The Nullarbor undertaking his three-year Acting degree at NIDA. It is here that both shaped and nurtured his love for improvisation, and emphasised his passion for comedy. With a lifelong love and fascination with the art of stand-up, the Sydney comedy scene has been inspiring Harry and he looks to continue to explore the world of stand-up throughout his career.
