Jude is a Sydney-based writer with a passion for stories that embrace human rights, social justice, and spiritual recognition of the human condition. Coming from an extensive background in theatre and film in UK, USA and Australia, working with many of the theatre world’s finest, Jude transitioned into forensic psychotherapy, spending 30 years working in criminal justice, substance abuse, immigration detention, and the Royal Commission into child sexual abuse.
Originally studying journalism, Jude is a published author of non-fiction books and poetry. A newcomer to playwriting, in 2017 she was offered a place in the National Theatre of Parramatta’s Page to Stage program, and a creative development of her first play Postcards from the Wire. A meditator for almost 40 years, Jude loves the humour, irony, and absurdity of the human drama.
