Matt became passionate about drama when he discovered improvisation at high school. This stayed with him even after he completed a Bachelor of Medical Imaging Science at Queensland University of Technology.
Matt traveled to Europe for two years, working as a radiographer, seeing shows and attending improv nights at various venues.
After returning from Europe, Matthew knew it was time for a change and auditioned successfully for NIDA.
Since then his limited theatre/screen knowledge has expanded and will continue to do so. He has a passion to learn more about the industry and be proactive in team environments. As a gay man he hopes to be involved with LGTBQI stories and communities.
