Kallan Crosbie

Kallan grew up in a family of practicing artists, and from a young age was encouraged to pursue creative activities by volunteering at music and circus festivals. This exposure allowed him to see the potential career opportunities in the industry. Kallan decided to study Staging/Scenic Construction and Technologies course at NIDA because he has a passion for creating environments and enjoys the problem solving of unique staging challenges. Highlights at NIDA include building a hydraulic lift, working with Lara Merritt to realise her art installation at Sydney Contemporary Festival in 2017, and creating a digital water curtain.
