Benjamin Sheen

Benjamin graduated from RMIT in 2014 with a Bachelor of Communications (Media) majoring in Cinema Studies. Benjamin was active in student theatre at the University of Melbourne, working as an actor, director and designer on over 20 productions. Directing credits include Chatroom (2012), Fawlty Towers (2012), The Dice House (2013, awarded University of Melbourne Production of the Year), Sweeney Todd (2013); he co-directed Attempts on Her Life (2014) with Clemence Williams, an interstate collaboration with Sydney University. In the independent scene, Benjamin directed and designed Sugar Sugar for MKA’s HYPRTXT Festival and The Pillowman for Melbourne Fringe. Benjamin is interested in combining his theatre and film skills, using projection and live video in many of his projects.
