NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.
In 2022, Louise O'Sullivan joined NIDA after successfully leading the integration of the marketing and student recruitment function at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). At NIDA, Louise leads the marketing and student recruitment function with a specific focus on promoting diversity and inclusion.
With over 15 years’ experience in higher education marketing, Louise has experience working in various sectors including government, public and private universities, private providers, and not-for-profit organisations.
With a keen interest in the intersection of business, the arts, and social justice, Louise pursued a Graduate Certificate in Social Impact at the University of New South Wales. While Louise once graced pub and club stages as a vocalist for numerous bands, today she channels her passion for music and performing arts into supporting and celebrating emerging talent. Although her singing is now reserved for the shower, Louise feels incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by the vibrant energy of aspiring artists and performers every day at NIDA.
