At 19, Ashton has taken an unconventional path into acting. Growing up in Perth, he spent summers on his boat at Rottnest Island, surfing, fishing and exploring the ocean, while also pursuing his passion for AFL with hopes of playing professionally.
His love for performance began early, but after being dropped from his sports team for missing training to rehearse My Fair Lady, he chose sport over acting. Years later, a back injury brought that dream to an unexpected end and led him back to performance. After finishing high school, Ashton travelled through Europe, where he was deeply inspired by its art, culture and storytelling. The experience broadened his perspective and deepened his passion for acting, reaffirming his commitment to the craft.
Bringing a strong sense of discipline, resilience and curiosity, Ashton is focused on building a career across stage and screen, drawn to bold, complex roles that challenge him and continually expand his range.
