Imogen Hale is a performance designer and artist who has been making things since she could first get her hands on paint and paper. She has a passion for intentional, emotionally driven design, with a particular interest in the intersection of theatre and the visual arts.

Imogen believes strongly in a holistic approach to performance making and its potential for resonance and connection. Outside of NIDA, she has worked in scenic art and continues to evolve her practice across various areas of creative interest, including painting, textiles and writing. Imogen has always held a love for stories in any form, and hopes to create work that reflects this – bringing genuine care to each project she is a part of.
