Celeste Anchique

Celeste is a Sydney-born performer with Italian and Colombian heritage. Growing up as an only child, she developed a knack for daydreaming and creating her own stories to occupy her time. Her mum says she was born dancing, so she was put into ballet classes at age two—and never looked back.

Whilst studying at NIDA she had the opportunity to perform in the ensemble of Nine, directed by Dean Drieberg and choreographed by Brendan Yeates. She also had the privilege of working with Darren Yap (Director) and Brittanie Shipway (Director) on the end of year showcase.

Determined to prove herself as a “triple threat” in one way or another, Celeste has trained across multiple disciplines: she holds a Diploma of Music from AIM (2024), a Certificate III in Live Production and Services from TAFE (2021), and has recently picked up her alto saxophone again!

Celeste is thrilled to have the opportunity to utilise her passion and versatility in the professional performing arts world and is keen to share stories that represent her cultural background.
