After completing a double degree in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Communication, Amy’s career started in event management in Sydney and then onto managing communication for international aid and government advocacy in the Not-for-Profit sector. Amy then made the decision to pursue her love of the arts and began her journey in arts management.
Amy has worked with some of Australia’s most iconic arts brands including the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Carriageworks and Belvoir St Theatre, as well as beloved Australian festivals including Sydney WorldPride and Sydney Mardi Gras.
Amy is a passionate champion of the impact of Australian creativity at home and abroad, and the power of the arts to welcome and inspire.
Amy is driven to support access for all young people to pursue creative careers, have access to creative spaces and opportunities to make their unique voices heard.
Amy said: “NIDA is synonymous with excellence, and so many NIDA graduates have gone on to redefine their fields of work. Over 60+ years NIDA has come to shape our collective understanding of what Australian creativity can achieve, and I’m thrilled to contribute to the next chapter of that story.”
