Juliette Amies

Juliette Amies is the Course Coordinator for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre and Stage Management. She graduated from La Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III with a Masters in Direction of Cultural Projects and Establishments*. For her Masters’ thesis project, Juliette researched the development of the Centre of Pompidou’s video game Prisme 7 created to attract teenagers to the museum space. She also graduated with distinction from the University of New South Wales with a double Bachelor of Fine Arts with majors in Digital Media and Film Studies and a minor in Sculpture, Performance and Installation.

Highlights in her career have been working on public engagement programs for schools and young children with the La Réunion des Musée Nationaux – Grand Palais and Le Musée de L’Homme in Paris. In her previous roles, Juliette has worked with teams to make permanent collections and major international exhibits more accessible such as Noir et Blanc (2021), Napoléon (2021), Aux Frontières de l’Humain (2021-2022), Sneakers: Les Baskets entrent au Musée (2021-2022) et Arts et Préhistoire (2022-2023). 

Juliette is also a practising artist specialising in ceramics.
