We want to make that dream as accessible and rewarding for talented creative students as possible, and to continue providing students with the absolute best in teaching and technology to help bring their creativity to life.
NIDA offers world leading dramatic arts education that has unleashed the potential of some of Australia’s most loved, respected and globally successful actors, designers, writers, directors and technical production students. Our successful approach to teaching is founded in studio-based learning, applied in productions across a range of forms, scales and venues and guided by expert teaching professionals. This ‘hands on’ training involves substantial support, pastoral care and ongoing creative experimentation.

NIDA Foundation Trust
Established in 1984, the NIDA Foundation Trust is an independent body that raises funds for NIDA. The Trust supports projects and activities not provided for by regular government funding or earned income.
