Tom Marchant is an 18-year-old Australian performer from Bendigo, Victoria, currently based in Sydney while studying the Diploma of Musical Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

His training includes six years of acting and singing coaching, alongside dance experience across musical theatre, jazz and tap. This multidisciplinary foundation has shaped him into a versatile emerging performer with a strong commitment to storytelling through both movement and voice.

Alongside his performance training, Tom is also passionate about screenwriting and filmmaking, spending much of his time developing original scripts and exploring storytelling from behind the camera as well as on stage. His creative practice is driven by a constant flow of ideas and a desire to bring characters and narratives to life in multiple forms.

At the centre of Tom’s work is a love of character embodiment and narrative exploration. He is committed to continuing to refine his craft and to sharing his passion for storytelling with audiences as he develops his career in the performing arts.
