Thomas first studied a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics Honours at the University of Queensland. Hence for most of his adult life, he has been more concerned with the upcoming federal election than how to get into character.
Though after binging Richard Roxburgh’s performance in Rake for the fifth time, Thomas realised something had to give.
He started out in Brisbane’s student theatre scene, and he quickly took to the stage gaining roles in every show he put his hand up for. He loved performing to an audience. Perhaps all those years of public speaking at competitive high school debates were paying off. So, he had the bug. But wanted more. And apparently Roxburgh studied at some place called NIDA…
Now in his graduating year, Thomas couldn’t be prouder to call himself an actor. Not to mention a lover of horse riding, a keen motorcyclist and an avid guitar player.
