Inspiration for a love of costumes came early for Sean Farnworth, from Halloween through to his passion for gaming, movies, sci-fi and cosplay. On his pathway to NIDA, he always had a passion for making, whether it was garments, furniture or 3D printing.
At NIDA, Sean has gained many new skills and improved existing ones. Be it collaboration, attention to detail, budgeting, planning or garment construction from various time periods. His final major project involved creating a specialty costume inspired from the TRON film franchise, using LED lighting and 3D printing.
Through NIDA he now has experience in costume supervising, dressing and crewing as part of NIDA productions.
Sean is looking forward to a future in costume making in film, TV and theatre where he can use his passion, work ethic and creativity to produce costumes that will bring characters to life.
