Samir Nasser was raised in Sydney in a household where the performing arts were part of daily life. As a child he often created short films with his parents, sparking an early connection to the art of performance. During high school, Samir attended the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP), where he loved devising and creating theatre.
Samir’s creativity isn’t limited to acting however, as he’s also an experienced pianist, having performed for his HSC. Balancing music and drama gave him a chance to explore different sides of storytelling, whether through keys or character. After High School, he jumped into a part time course at Screenwise in 2023, soaking up as much as he could about screen acting.
Samir then took on NIDA’s Diploma of Stage & Screen in 2025, steadily building his skills and following where his creativity leads.
