Olivia Riggio

Olivia Riggio’s passion for the arts began in childhood, starring in homemade films directed by her older sister. Since then, storytelling has remained at the heart of everything she does.

Born and raised in Sydney, Olivia grew up in a lively Greek and Italian household, where projecting her voice was less a skill and more a necessity. Her cultural heritage has played a significant role in shaping her identity, fostering a deep appreciation for family, community and history.

Olivia began acting classes in 2016 before attending Newtown High School of the Performing Arts from 2020 to 2025. During her studies, she was selected to travel to the United Kingdom to participate in workshops with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Complicité and Frantic Assembly, gaining valuable insight into a range of performance practices and approaches to theatre-making.

Through her training at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Olivia has gained firsthand experience working on professional productions and further strengthened her belief in the power of performance to challenge perspectives and connect audiences with different ways of seeing the world.

She is excited to continue developing her craft and creating work that resonates with audiences, sparks conversation and fosters meaningful human connection.
