Born in Manly, Sydney, Maya has also lived on the Gold Coast and in Melbourne.

Before falling in love with musical theatre, Maya studied the piano and flute. Then, after two years of full-time dance with Robert Sturrock in Melbourne, Maya was thrilled to be accepted into the 2025 Diploma of Musical Theatre at NIDA.

At NIDA, Maya was a featured performer in the Dean Drieberg production of “Nine” and in performances of “No Way” for the NIDA Open Day and the Raise the Curtain events.
