Hi I’m Mabel, a hair and makeup artist with a passion for all things creative, especially character work, wigs and SFX. I’m also a trained face painter, which adds another layer to how I approach detailed, expressive looks. Whether I’m working on set or backstage, I’m always excited to help bring stories and characters to life through hair, makeup and design.

I come from a background in graphic design, which really complements my work in this industry. It’s given me a strong eye for colour, composition and detail. All of which help when creating bold looks, designing face charts or developing visual concepts for shoots and performances. I love the way both disciplines feed into each other!

My inspiration comes from everywhere – culture, nature, art, music and I’m always on the lookout for new textures, shapes or ideas to play with. I also enjoy making props and custom pieces to enhance my hair and makeup looks, especially when working on more stylised character-based projects.

I’m known for being friendly, organized and adaptable. I really value creating a safe and comfortable environment for everyone in my chair and on my team. I believe beauty and transformation should be fun, collaborative and for everyone!
