Luke Johnston is an emerging actor and musical theatre performer raised on the Central Coast of New South Wales and currently based in Sydney. From an early age, he balanced twin passions for acting and music, developing a strong foundation in both disciplines throughout his upbringing.

When Luke discovered musical theatre, he found a form that united these parallel creative interests. This discovery sparked a deep commitment to performance, leading him to actively engage in community theatre and pursue as many opportunities to perform as possible.

In 2024, Luke was recognised through the Bell Shakespeare “John Bell Scholarship”, an achievement that further affirmed his dedication to the craft and his potential as a developing artist within the Australian theatre landscape.

Driven by passion, discipline and curiosity, Luke is eager to transition into the professional performing arts industry. He is motivated by a desire to contribute to the long tradition of storytelling that reflects and shapes human experience.
