Lola Merewether

Born in the United States, Lola Merewether spent her early years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before moving to Sydney, Australia where she is currently based. While at school, Lola discovered her love of acting through musical theatre training.

Having unearthed this passion, Lola developed her performance skills alongside her academic obligations – becoming fluent in the German language and winning state-level debating competitions while simultaneously appearing in short films, feature films and stage productions. Growing as a person in tandem with her growth as a performer, Lola believes wholeheartedly in the power of the arts to inspire change on an individual and international scale.

Lola graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in 2024 and is completing the Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance at NIDA. While at NIDA, Lola has been fortunate enough to take on an understudy role in the Winter Season production of Photograph 51 directed by David Berthold as well as the Spring Season production of The Royal Experiment directed by Lee Lewis.

Lola has concluded her year at NIDA with her performance in the 2025 Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance Showcase directed by Carissa Licciardello.
