Lila Browning (she/her) is an emerging lighting designer, technician, and stage manager with a background in dance. She is driven by curiosity and the belief that there will always be something new to learn. 

Prior to NIDA Lila trained in a range of dance styles for 15 years. She is very interested in sculpting movement with light and design informed by musicality. 

Her interest in lighting stemmed from systems and programming, which she thoroughly enjoys. This gave her a good base understanding to undertake design roles in her final year at NIDA, where she discovered her passion for designing. She particularly enjoys lighting musically driven and movement-based works, combining her passion for dance and design.
