Catherine Laga’aia’s passion for the arts stems from its deep roots in her family. Being a Samoan/English actor, Catherine’s aim is to change the industry to make diversity the standard.


Whilst training at the National Institute of the Dramatic Art, Catherine continued to develop her skills in singing and public speaking, being one of the few Halogens Young Leaders Day speakers of 2025. Catherine has just wrapped filming on Disney Live Action Moana and anticipates its release in 2026.
