Jamie is a Sydney-based maker with a passion for the technical and creative processes behind live performance. Exploring his interests of engineering and backstage work during high school, Jamie grew a fascination towards how seamlessly things operate behind the scenes.
At NIDA, Jamie has developed a strong passion for set construction where he enjoys the hands-on process of building as well as tackling complex problems and turning creative concepts into practical stage solutions.
Throughout his learning, Jamie has gained experience across multiple skillsets including metalwork, woodwork, mechanics, rigging, 3D modelling, scenic art and automation. Driven by curiosity and a love of learning, he is always eager to explore new disciplines and further his skills as a maker.
