Grace Mantaj

As a proud queer Korean – Polish woman, Grace is a lifelong storyteller. She studied creative writing and politics at university, where she found herself yearning for stories that reflected her life and the lives of those she loves. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international studies, a major in creative writing, and a strong belief that the Australian media landscape would nothing but enriched by celebrating intersectional voices.

After graduating, Grace found herself craving further creative expression, and decided she would finally succumb to her childhood love of performing.

Grace attended NIDA open, where on the advice of a tutor, Grace auditioned for the Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance.

Grace has had the privilege of understudying for NIDA’s Winter season production of No Particular Order directed by Nigel Turner-Carroll, being featured in the Triple J music video for ‘Stress Free’ by Baraka the Kid directed by Louise Birgan, working with director Carissa Licciardello on the showcase and understudying in NIDA’s Spring season production of Mary Stuart directed by Marion Potts.
