Born to a Maltese father and German mother, Giani grew up in former military housing along the leafy waterfront suburb of Riverview, dreaming of what lay beyond the horizon. 

Caught between two cultures, and feeling out of place, Giani sought answers as to who they were and where they belonged.

This search has led them across continents,  to many different walks of life and though these questions still remain, it was through performing and creating that Giani had finally found what they were searching for. 

Since then, Giani has grown to become a confident writer, director, physical theatre performer, and actor, touring Shakespeare and appearing on screen where their dreams all started.
