Georgia Aitken

Raised in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland, New Zealand), this emerging performer always had ambitious plans for the future, although they regularly shifted between becoming a local sheep shearer and hosting a beloved children’s television show. What remained constant, however, was a passion for creativity, performance and connecting with others through storytelling.

From a young age, they trained across a variety of dance styles, spending countless hours in the studio creating choreography and performing whenever possible. Through dance, they developed a deep appreciation for artistic expression and the power of performance to communicate ideas, emotions and stories.

After years of appearing in community, youth and pro-amateur theatre productions throughout New Zealand, they embarked on a transformative journey in 2024, travelling across the United States for four months as a Performance Apprentice with the Broadway Dreams. The experience challenged and inspired them, while further strengthening their commitment to pursuing a professional career in the performing arts.

Driven by curiosity, optimism and a love of collaboration, they continue to seek opportunities that encourage growth both on and off the stage. They firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, whether it is the opportunity to study at NIDA or the rare triumph of securing a seat on Sydney’s notoriously busy 392 bus.

Excited by the journey ahead, they look forward to continuing to develop their craft and sharing stories that connect with audiences in meaningful and memorable ways.
