Eloise is a comedy writer based on Dharug land. Her degree in politics and international relations has fortunately been put to the best possible use as she now writes queer comedies and political satires for both stage and screen. Eloise has worked as a notetaker for Roadshow Rough Diamond, Guesswork Television and SBS. She was awarded the Katie Lees Fellowship for 2025 where she staged her play, Crotchless, at Flight Path Theatre, and her play Getaway was longlisted for the Griffin Award, 2026. Her debut play, Screwd!, which she co-wrote and co-directed, was a finalist for Best in Theatre at the Sydney Fringe Festival 2024, and her comedy, Notes on (Church) Camp, was included in the Big Gay Entree Festival at the Factory Theatre in 2025.
Eloise is passionate about deconstructing systems of power and her unwavering (not at all self-fulfilling) desire to make audiences laugh has meant that her stories are fast-paced and tend to set her grandmother’s hair aflame.
