Ellie Drayton

Since taking her first acting and singing class at age 3, I fell in love with performing and channelling my imagination into storytelling. I’ve always been drawn to spending my free time either singing, making home-movies, being in plays, painting or just dancing around the house.

Being based in Sydney, with Slovak and Australian roots, I have utilised acting as a medium for me to navigate finding my voice and identity as an individual. Growing up I took part in all the activities under the sun, from rowing, to saxophone, to graduating from the Australian Music Theatre Academy (AMTA), even studying French along the way.

However, I’ve always known that my heart belongs to the silver screen and gilded stage. As a result, after graduating high school, my creative journey led me to NIDA, where I have evolved my skills in the Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance.

I am dedicated to expanding my career in the performing arts space, and I am eager to take on a diverse set of roles that develop my range through the individual challenges they present. Whether I’m taking on a new challenge or building on existing skills, I bring enthusiasm, dedication, and an authentic energy to every performance.
