Home Profile Billie Daly

Billie Daly

Born and raised in North Perth, Billie spent much of her childhood going on month-long camping trips into regional WA, often returning to school severely behind on homework and with only a few broken bones. The long drives meant plenty of car time, where she and her brother watched films endlessly, sparking an early obsession with cinema and stories.

In Year 9, she was cast as one of Fagin’s boys in Oliver! a small ensemble role she attacked with wildly disproportionate enthusiasm. Somewhere between the dodgy Cockney accent and the thrill of being on stage, something clicked. She had found a true love.

After high school, she studied a Diploma of Acting followed by a Diploma of Screen Performance at WAAPA. Here she discovered her passion for writing and directing, particularly for the screen.

Outside of acting, Billie loves to watch F1, swim laps, run, hike, travel and is an avid reader. She looks forward to entering the industry.
