Bethany Melmoth

Bethany Melmoth is a musical theatre performer currently studying the Diploma of Musical Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

A natural performer from a young age, Bethany’s love of the stage began long before she formally pursued the arts. From singing in the car with her grandmother to enthusiastically presenting choreographed routines for her family, performance has always been a central part of her life.

Her creative journey began with movement, training in hip hop dance and gymnastics before continuing her dance studies throughout high school. Over time, she discovered a passion for circus arts, which led to performance opportunities at events including the Adelaide Fringe. Alongside her performance training, Bethany majored in music during college and began singing professionally at events in her hometown.

Since commencing her studies at NIDA in 2026, Bethany has embraced the challenge of stepping outside her comfort zone and continuing to grow as an artist. Under the guidance of respected industry professionals including Brittanie Shipway, Darren Yap and Kelley Abbey, she has developed her skills across singing, dance and acting.

Dedicated, hardworking and passionate about her craft, Bethany is committed to refining the artistry and discipline required of a professional performer. She looks forward to continuing her development and entering the industry with a strong foundation in musical theatre and performance.
