We’re excited to share that Prologue by NIDA – the new ‘take-home’ course from NIDA Corporate Training – has won four awards at the recent Australian Good Design Awards!
The wins include the coveted title of Best in Class in the Education Services category. Our innovative new offering also scooped up award wins for Branding & Identity and Packaging in the Communication Design category. This category recognises and celebrates good design principles that deliver a positive impact: for people, place and planet. Our fourth award win is for Design Strategy.
The prestigious Australian Good Design Awards showcase the very best in design and innovation to a worldwide audience. Every year, the Awards attract cutting-edge design projects from across the globe, celebrating the very best in design, architecture, engineering, research, fashion, and social impact.
Developed in collaboration with our partner Nakatomi, Prologue by NIDA’s first course, Act Natural, launched earlier this year and offers a first-of-its-kind professional development course in effective communication and interpersonal skills.
The Jury praised Prologue by NIDA commenting: ‘Congratulations to Prologue by NIDA for transforming education through innovative design. Your multi-platform approach, which integrates insights from the dramatic arts into professional development, demonstrates the powerful impact of learner-centered design on education and student engagement.
Prologue by NIDA is an innovative professional development platform designed for a new generation of learners. Combining insights from dramatic arts with practical applications, the multi-platform course includes an illustrated book, card games, and an app with engaging multimedia content. The Jury appreciates how the project effectively reaches a new generation with a thoughtfully designed strategy and product, considering multiple perspectives to enhance accessibility and engagement.’
The self-directed course comes as a beautifully-designed hardcover book and app, and is packed with bite-sized lessons of insightful and entertaining content, card games and challenges, audio guides, videos and real-life challenges, catering to the variety of ways in which professionals work and consume information today.
‘As the first take-home course from NIDA Corporate Training, in our 30 year history of coaching professionals, we’re delighted that its unique design and intended impact has received such recognition from the Australian Good Design Awards. Congratulations and thank you to our team and the team of Nakatomi who made Prologue by NIDA a reality,’ says Liz Hughes, CEO of NIDA.
