The National Institute of Dramatic Art is now accepting applications for the 2017 intake to its popular higher education courses in the dramatic arts.
Offering the opportunity to learn and train with the best, this is the perfect time to take a look at NIDA’s broad selection of study options – accredited Vocational Diploma, Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degrees – for those wanting to pursue a career in the creative and cultural industries.
In addition to the world-renowned Acting course, NIDA offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in: Costume (costume-making), Design for Performance, Properties and Objects (props-making), Staging, and Technical Theatre and Stage Management.
Masters of Fine Arts degrees are offered in Cultural Leadership, Design for Performance, Directing, Voice (voice teaching), and Writing for Performance, which are all housed in the new state-of-the-art NIDA Graduate School building. Accredited Vocational Diplomas are also offered in Musical Theatre, Live Production and Technical Services, Specialist Make-up Services, and the newly launched, Stage and Screen Performance.
As applications are now open, NIDA Deputy Director and Head of Design for Performance, Michael Scott-Mitchell looks forward to seeing the diverse range of applicants for 2017.
