NIDA acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we learn and tell stories, the Bidjigal, Gadigal, Dharawal and Dharug peoples, and we pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present.

About Emma

Emma is a writer and a graduate of NIDA’s Master of Fine Arts Writing for Performance. Originally from New South Wales, Emma has grown up and travelled around the world—from the United States to the United Kingdom. She has a passion for both screen and theatre. She believes storytelling plays an integral part in examining and questioning the way society functions both socially and politically. In her writing, she is particularly interested in exploring themes of forgiveness, mental health, ethics, and what it means to be “human”.
